Our Quran classes for kids are made for children between 4 and 14 who live far from a good Quran teacher, or whose week is already full of school and activities. Each child has their own teacher, a plan that fits their age, and classes short enough to keep them interested. Parents always know what was covered, because you get a written progress report every month.
Kids learn the Quran best when they enjoy the time with their teacher. A child who looks forward to class will practise without being pushed. So we pick teachers who are patient with children, keep lessons lively, and don't mind repeating the same letter ten times with a smile.
What your child will learn
Every child starts at their own level, and the path usually looks like this:
- Reading foundations. The Arabic letters, vowels and joining, using Noorani Qaida or Noor Al-Bayan.
- Reading the Quran with Tajweed. Moving to the Mushaf and learning the basic rules in simple words.
- Memorizing short surahs. Starting with Al-Fatiha and Juz' Amma, with regular revision.
- Islamic basics. Short lessons on prayer, wudu, duas and stories of the Prophets, added when the child is ready.
The teacher adjusts the mix. A six-year-old might spend most of the class on reading and finish with a short surah. A twelve-year-old might focus on memorization and Tajweed.
How classes are made for children
- Short sessions. 20 to 30 minutes for younger kids, 45 minutes for older ones.
- Lots of repetition, little lecturing. Children learn by listening and copying, not by hearing rules.
- Visual pages on screen. The teacher points to each letter as the child reads.
- Praise and small rewards. Stars, points and a certificate at the end of each level.
- Parents are welcome to sit in, especially in the first few classes.
Female teachers and safety
Many parents prefer a female teacher, especially for daughters or very young children. Female teachers are available, and you can tell us your preference when you book. All classes happen on Zoom or Google Meet through your own account, and parents are always able to join or watch.
Reports for parents
At the end of each month, you get a short report: what your child read or memorized, what they found hard, and the plan for the next month. If something isn't working, you can message us and we'll adjust the plan or the class time.
Choosing the right schedule
For most children, three classes a week works well. It's enough to make steady progress without feeling heavy. Children who are memorizing often do better with four or five shorter classes rather than two long ones.
If you're comparing options, our guide for parents on choosing online Quran classes for kids covers what to look for in a teacher and a program.

Frequently asked questions
What age can my child start online Quran classes? Most children are ready at about 4, if they can sit and pay attention for 15 to 20 minutes. The teacher checks this in the free trial.
My child is shy. Will they talk to the teacher? Usually after one or two classes. Teachers start slowly, play simple games and give the child time. A parent sitting nearby helps a lot at first.
Can siblings share one class? Each child gets their own class, because children learn at different speeds. You can book them back to back, and the family discount applies.
Will my child get homework? Just a little: a few lines to read or a short surah to revise. Five to ten minutes a day is enough.
Can I change the teacher if it isn't a good fit? Yes. Tell us and we'll find another teacher for your child.
